The PSP Association is the leading authority on Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) and the related disease Cortico Basal Degeneration (CBD.
We champion the needs of people living with PSP to ensure timely access to services and support in line with the PSP Association’s Care Pathway for PSP.
The Care Pathway sets out the type of care and support people living with PSP and their carers need, and the ways it should be delivered.
Our services include:
· Specialist Care Advisers (SCA’s) who work to ensure people affected by PSP have access to good local support. SCA's focus on raising the profile of PSP - informing, influencing and educating
· Helpline and Information Service offering advice, support and information to people with PSP, CBD, their carers, families, health and social care professionals and volunteers
· Local PSP groups and volunteers
· Education programme for HSCP’s
